A little rant
So I don’t generally use tumblr as a platform for what I have to say—this might even alienate some of the people that I follow/that follow me, but I don’t really care. I’ve gotta say something even if nobody reads this.
Rape is not hot. It’s not a joke. I don’t think we should make light of it. I see posts all the time that say things like, “It’s not rape if he comes too!” and things like that, or casually referring to sex as rape as if it’s no big deal. Things like, “He was raped by the men until….blahblahblah” when the clip or pic doesn’t even seem to suggest rape. You know, just throwing the term in there.
Rough sex is fine. Sex with intense domination/submissiveness if fine. Do what you want to do—emphasis on the want to do. If sex is not consented to by both parties, it is NOT okay.
So there, that’s the end of my rant.
